Since we have a leaky drain and have to bail the bathwater, using it to flush the toilet. Saves 3-5 galons of water per flush. :)

The idea is old. My grandparents did it as a matter of lifestyle. It was called junkin' and scavagin' then. They call it freecycling now. There is so much good trash in the world...why buy anything new? The idea here is to reconstruct the parts of our house that need reconstruction using only materials we've found in the trash. I will be updating through text messages. As possible, I'll post pictures of finished projects.
